The semiannual journal Farhang (Special Issue on History), which had received scientific-research accreditation from the Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in 2004 (approval no. 1343/2910/3, dated 1383), officially changed its title to Historical Studies (Jostarha-ye Tarikhi) on 28 April 2010, pursuant to approval no. 407/11/3.
The journal Historical Studies is a peer-reviewed scholarly semiannual published by the Department of History at the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies.
In the evaluation system of the Publications Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the journal currently holds a “B” rank.
