The Journal of Historical Studies (Jostārhā-ye Tārixi) is a peer-reviewed scholarly research journal published by the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies (IHCS), Tehran, Iran.
The journal of Historical Studies publishes original research articles and new scholarly contributions by academics and researchers working in the field of History of Iranian, as well as in related interdisciplinary areas within the humanities and cultural studies.
The journal actively publishes high-quality scholarly research addressing theoretical, methodological, and applied issues related to History of Iranian. It aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of original research and to promote academic dialogue among scholars in relevant fields.

Peer Review Process
This journal of Historical Studies is a double-blind peer-reviewed publication.
All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent/external anonymous experts. Articles are accepted for publication only after successful peer review and final approval by the editorial board.
Journal History and Accreditation
The biannual journal Farhang (Special Issue on History), which had been accredited as a Scientific–Research Journal since 2004 pursuant to Resolution No. 1343/2910/3 of the Commission on Academic Publications of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, was officially renamed Historical Studies as of July 19, 2010 (28 Tir 1389), in accordance with Resolution No. 407/11/3.
